The 3rd Annual Veterans Memorial 5k Walk/Run in Memory of Lt. Col. Melvin Rogers was May 23rd. Thank you to all those who came out to support our family.  We had supporters and family participating from several places, including Starkville, MS, Florida, Illinois, California and Washington.  Support was so strong for us, we had two more teams of people walking a 5k to honor Lt. Col. Melvin Rogers on the same day in their home state of Washington! We were very humbled by such a caring gesture.  And a special thanks to the Richard E. Holmes II Memorial Foundation for all of their love and care in putting on this event.  We will forever be grateful.
